Rental eviction ban extended to 23 August 2020

Renters in England and Wales who are at risk of eviction have been given a further two months security, after Government extended the rental eviction ban.The ban will apply to all social and private rental accommodation.

Housing secretary Robert Jenrick confirmed that the rental ban across England and Wales will be extended until August 23. This means that there is a ban on all court proceedings and eviction orders taking place.
