Primary school pupils across England have started to return to school today – but the Mirror has reported that half of parents might keep their children at home, according to a surveys.
Teaching unions have argued it is too soon and one poll of more than 1,200 school leaders found headteachers were expecting 46 per cent of families to keep pupils at home.
